OPPO announced the mid-range smartphone in A series dubbed the OPPO A57 in China which is priced at 1599 yuan (US$ 230 / Rs. 15,840 approx.) and the sale begins on December 12 in China. There is no word mention about the release of other countries.
OPPO A57 features a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280) display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. The smartphone runs on Android Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s ColorOS 3.0 on the top and the physical home button also worked as a fingerprint Scanner.
As far as cameras are concerned, the device packs a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF, LED Flash and 16MP selfie shooter. On the storage front, the smartphone comes with 32GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options of OPPO A57 include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack. The smartphone is backed by a 2900mAh battery. The OPPO A57 will be available in two colours- Rose Gold and Gold.
