Coolpad unveils a two smartphones in India dubbed the Mega 3 and Note 3S. The Mega 3 and Note 3S are priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively, and will go on sale from December 7 exclusively on Amazon India. The highlight of the Coolpad Mega 3 smartphone is comes with triple-SIM slots whereas the Note 3S sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Starting with the Coolpad Mega 3, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1080 pixels) display with 269ppi pixel density and is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage and expandable via microSD slot (up to 64GB). It is runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In terms of Camera, the rear side sports a 8 megapixel camera with Auto focus and LED flash whereas 8-megapixel selfie shooter as well. The device is backed by a 3050mAh non-removable battery.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and triple-SIM slots, OTG supports. It comes in three colour variants – Gold, Grey, and White colour.
Coming to the Coolpad Note 3S, the smartphone features a similar 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5D screen protection and is powered by the 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of internal storage and it can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The Coolpad Note 3S runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the company’s Cool UI 8.0 on top. Cameras include a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and f/2.2 aperture. There’s a 5-megapixel front facing camera with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, OTG supports and dual-SIM slots.
In addition to the fingerprint sensor at the back, the smartphone also sports an accelerometer, magnetic sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor. It is comes in Gold and White colour options.
